The Japanese Corner was held in the Library lobby at 6 p.m. on November 25th, 2014. Mr. Wataru Sato, Mr. Hiromasa Meguro and Ms. Kayoko Matsushima as well as international students from Japan had presented.
The students and Ms. Kayoko Matsushima were talking about Japanese fashion culture of eastern and western regions in Japan, from clothing and hairstyle to makeup, which is quite different from each other. Since there will be an exchange program to Niigata University next term, the students also asked the teacher about the Niigata University and whether they are suitable as exchange students. At the same time, some senior students asked Mr. Hiromasa Meguro about graduation thesis and he answered the questions patiently. Mr. Wataru Sato and the Japanese students had a nice talk with freshmen.
Students can improve their oral Japanese through the practice in the Japanese Corner. Therefore, it is a good choice to join us every Tuesday night.
