演讲人🧑🏽‍🎤🛒：Mr. Neville Swartz

Neville Swartz has been a teacher long enough to remember when the only tools for a teacher in a classroom were the writing-board and a few pieces of chalk.

He was gradually exposed to a huge variety of teaching tools including the arrival of the photocopier, an OHP, fax-machine, a class-based computer, first generation software ( can anyone still remember the 360 kb floppy and the upgrade to the 720 kb stiffie disks), Word and Power Point - the Internet and email and finally Moodle LMS (Learning Management System).

He is currently subscribed to numerous "eLearning Discussion Forums" and has shared some of the digital products he has created with BNUZ. He is currently teaching Academic Writing and Media Studies as electives, both of which are Internet based, and has exposed BNUZ students to this "new" learning platform. The "newness" of this platform has presented some initial problems which will be discussed as part of Re-thinking the location of Learning.
