Ms. Dulene Cipriano, with a BA in English from Indiana University and an MA in English from IUPUI, specializes in teaching English Composition to international students.

演讲内容简介:

This lecture introduces some general information about the increasingly commercial diet consumed by Americans, and also how some of the disparities in the diet are based on income level and neighborhood location. Originally designed as a lesson for an English Summer Program at Wuhan University, the information in this lecture is taken primarily from an interview conducted with Dr. Blasé Polite, MD, who works in the treatment and research of cancer at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and was also developed from articles on the internet. Dr. Polite is also a political activist in the interests of promoting better diet practices in America, and was able to give information about the causes for dietary disparities.
