12月19日晚，为使学生更近距离地接触西方文化和感受节日气息，外教Ms. Linda Visner 在励耘A105举办了一个温馨有趣的文化之夜，吸引了40多名学生到场。文化之夜是Ms. Linda Visner持续多年为学生们举办的一个特色活动。

活动从现场制作布朗尼蛋糕开始📂🏃🏻‍➡️。Ms. Linda Visner事先准备了所需的原料和工具🧷。在她耐心的讲解下🍞，同学们满怀热情、争先恐后地参与制作♦︎。在大家齐心协力的合作下🧝🏻，蛋糕很快被放进了烤炉。随后👧🏼🧜🏽，Ms. Linda Visner通过提问的方式向同学们解释了西方圣诞节的一些细节👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨，如为什么西方人过节要买圣诞树和把礼物放进袜子里。接下来在游戏环节中🕺🏼，大家分别玩了“你比我猜”和张口接棉花糖的游戏。同学们尽情的参与让现场笑声不断，其乐融融。伴着教室弥漫的一股香味，布朗尼蛋糕出炉了☺️。为使同学们都能品尝到蛋糕，Ms. Linda Visner还事先做好了一些带到现场🧗‍♂️。当同学们还在回味蛋糕的美味时，Ms. Linda Visner拿出吉他为同学们演奏了几首圣诞歌曲。值得一提的是🧗🏻‍♂️，她自弹自唱的来自家乡的歌曲《Poppa’s Song》深深触动了现场的所有人✍️。在其空灵的歌声中，同学们感受到了语言别样的美。

时光飞逝🙋🏿‍♀️，派对在一片欢声笑语中结束了🪆。在Ms. Linda Visner感谢同学们到来的同时，同学们也感谢Ms. Linda Visner的文化之夜给寒冬带来了温暖🛐。

A Culture Night

Ms. Linda J. Visner, the foreign teacher of SFL, held a Culture Night on the evening of December 19th in Liyun A105, which attracted over 40 students to come. The Culture Night, a special activity held by Ms. Linda Visner, started several years ago.

The party started with making brownies. With adequate preparation and direction from Ms. Linda Visner, all the students made brownies with great passion together. After the cake was put in the oven, Ms. Linda Visner started to explain many details of Christmas to the students, such as the reason why westerners buy Christmas Tree and why they put gifts in socks. Then it came to the game session. All the students actively participated in the game and enjoyed it. And after the students had brownies made by themselves, Ms. Linda Visner played several Christmas songs with guitar. Especially the song from her hometown, “Poppa’ s Song”, deeply moved all the students.

In the end, all the students thanked Ms. Linda J. Visner for bringing such a wonderful night.
