我校第九届“励耘杯”英语演讲比赛圆满落幕

2013年11月22日晚❌，由共青团北京J9九游会平台娱乐代理官方网站珠海分校委员会主办，九游会平台承办的第九届“励耘杯”英语演讲比赛在励耘楼A302成功举办，来自各个J9九游会不同年级的14位选手进行了激烈角逐，九游会平台副院长谢庆立副教授、副院长谢文婷副教授、王晓凌教授、何钟森副教授、Mr.Sean Mchugh受邀担任此次比赛的评委。
本次演讲比赛分为主题演讲、现场答辩和即兴演讲环节。第一环节要求选手们以“感恩”为题进行3-4分钟的演讲🛀，选手们通过自己丰富的生活体验，表达了对感恩的独特理解。他们精彩的论述👮🏽，标准的发音🧤，抑扬顿挫的语调和大方自如的状态👷🏿♀️，博得了场下阵阵掌声。每位参赛者演讲结束后🤳，评委们会根据其演讲内容进行针对性提问，选手们的回答也精彩至极📴。经过激烈角逐，10名选手进入第二环节，分别抽取一张寓意深刻的图片，在30秒的思考时间后，进行即兴演讲。每位选手充分发挥了自己的智慧和想象力，进行了一场场激情澎湃的演讲，感染了在场的观众和老师，使现场的气氛达到了高潮🏗。比赛环节结束后🧒🏽，Mr.Sean Mchugh对比赛进行总结，并提供了一些公共演讲的技巧，让选手和观众受益匪浅🧑🏻🦰。
经过评委公平🤶、公正🐸🏌🏻、公开的评判，黄志翀荣获一等奖，彭春娥和廖炎获得二等奖，徐淑霞、黄宏敏和黎灏越获得三等奖🚣🏽♂️。本次比赛丰富了校园文化生活，推动了校园文化建设🫁，使学术氛围更加浓厚，也提高了同学们的综合素质🚳，展现了当代大学生的风采🧉。
The Ninth “Li Yun Cup” English Speaking Contest

The Ninth “Li Yun Cup” English Speaking Contest in BNUZ was held successfully in A302 of Liyun building on November 22nd, with 14 students from different schools and faculties competing in the contest. Vice Dean and Associate Professor, Xie Qingli, Vice Dean and Associate Professor Xie Wenting, Professor Wang Xiaoling, Associate Professor He Zhongshen, Mr.Sean Mchugh were invited as the judges of the contest.
The contest consists of 3 rounds, namely, prepared speech, defense and impromptu speech. In the first round, the contestants were asked to deliver a prepared speech on the topic “Gratitude” within 3 to 4 minutes. With their own experiences of life, the contestants interpreted gratitude in different ways. Their illustrations, pronunciation and manners were praised with thundering applauses. After each speech, the contestant defensed what they have talked about.
Ten contestants who passed the first round chose one picture, based on which they gave impromptu speeches. Their creative ideas won the judges’ praise. Mr.Sean Mchugh made comments on the contest and shared some useful skills about public speaking.
The proficient English, witty answers and quick responses from the contestants impressed the judging panel and audience. The First Prize went to Huang Zhichong and the Second Prize went to Liao Yan and Peng Chun’e. Xu Shuxia. Huang Hongmin and Li Haoyue and other contestants were also awarded.
English Speaking Contest attracted more than 400 English learners from the campus, making it a gathering of the best young English-speaking talents in the university.
