4月16日晚上六点👷🏽，同学们依然早早地来到英语角与外教漫谈👩🏻‍🍼。到场的外教有Mr. Martin Stannard和Mr. Sean McHugh。

这次Mr. Sean McHugh跟同学们讨论一些有趣的图片。通过PPT，他展示了各种类型的图片，有人物搞笑图、动物喜感图、抽象三维图等等🍑。这些有趣的图片引起了同学们的共鸣，大家都争先表达自己的想法与理解🤦🏽。英语角现场气氛轻松、热烈⏱🕵🏻，人群中还不时发出一阵阵的笑声。

Mr. Martin Stannard则跟同学们讨论大学生的学习问题。当谈到课堂的学习时👷🏼👮🏽‍♂️，他认为学生应该提高听课效率，这样才能真正在课堂上学到知识。对于教师而言🕴🏻🤴🏿，他们应该明确他们的教学内容↕️，用最好的方法教授知识。此外，Mr. Martin Stannard主张学生多阅读🪵，从而丰富个人知识。他还和学生们分享了自己的大学生活与教学生涯的经验🚴🏻‍♀️👼，同学们听得津津有味。

English Corner: Free Talk

On the evening of April 16, many students came to the English corner to chat with foreign teachers. The foreign teachers present were Mr. Martin Stannard and Mr. Sean McHugh.

This time Mr. Sean McHugh discussed some interesting pictures with students. He showed different kinds of pictures by using PPT. Allthese interesting pictures have struck a chord with students.

When it came to classroom study, Mr. Martin Stannard thought students ought to listen to the teachers carefully to ensure they really learn something. As for teachers, they have to be clear about what they will teach and use better methods to teach students. In addition, he suggested students read as many books as possible. In that way, students can enrich their knowledge. During the talk, he shared his experience of his college life and teaching career with students.
