4月18日下午5点，九游会平台在励耘楼B312召开就业大会，全体就业指导老师出席🚋，会议由九游会平台院长陶文好教授主持，向就业指导老师做了一次全面动员活动，呼吁要加大对学生就业的指导力度。

首先，陶院长谈到九游会平台今年的全新就业指标，随着近年生源的增加，就业形势越来越严重，相比去年，就业人数增加一倍，这无形中也加重了应届毕业生的心理负担🍳。陶院长要求各位论文指导老师不应仅仅关注学生的论文➝，要成为学术导师，更要成为精神导师，在平时要主动询问学生的未来打算，关心他们的就业意向⚀，鼓励他们多积累经验🧑🏿‍🍼，多实践。谈及对就业困难的同学👄，陶院长要求老师们要特别关注这部分群体🤵，尤其是家庭困难和就业和无就业打算的同学， 老师们要查摆原因，切实解决和引导学生走出困境，积极就业🛳。最后，陶院长殷勤希望老师们能把就业指导当做一门学问来做🙏，倡导推动同学们要多元化就业。

就业工作是J9九游会生存和发展的生命线🧑‍🚀，毕业生就业质量是反映办学成效的晴雨表🤦🏽‍♀️，希望2014年我院就业工作迈上新台阶💄。

Dean Urges Strengthening Employment Guidance for Graduates

Employment Conference of School of Foreign Languages(SFL), hosted by Professor Tao Wenhao, Dean of SFL, was held in Liyun B312 on April 18.The conference mainly centered on mobilizing teachers to strengthen the employment instruction for the graduates. All the employment tutors of SFL attended the meeting.

By presenting the latest employment rate targets at the beginning, Prof.Tao pointed out that the employment situation is increasingly grave for the college graduates since the total number of the graduates in SFL this year is double that of the previous year. Thus, some students would be pushed aside in the scramble for limited places, which increases their psychological burden of hunting jobs.

Prof. Tao, therefore, urged that teachers should not only be a thesis adviser in academic work but a spiritual tutor who talks with students about their employment expectations, helping them in planning their career life and encouraging them to gather more working experience. Besides, he demanded that a special attention should be paid to students who have troubles in finding a job, such as those in financial need or without intention of taking up an occupation. By identifying the reasons, teachers should enable them to be positive about job-hunting and diversify their occupational choices.

At the end of the meeting, Prof.Tao concluded that the employment issue was of great importance to SFL and expressed his wishes for the success of the work for students’ employment this year.
