5月21日，一周一次的英语角如期举行，同学们与外教交谈甚欢。出席本次英语角的外教有Mr. Leck Wall、Mr. Sean McHugh和Mr. Gerard Brent。
在此次活动中🙇🏻♀️，Mr. Sean McHugh着重介绍了美国概况⛳️。他以展示大量图片为切入点，既概述了美国政治、军事、经济👩🏼🍳、建筑🫂、音乐几大方面的情况；也谈及了一些美国代表性的东西🔆，比如鹰和橡树🤦🏻♀️。通过Mr. Sean McHugh详细的讲解以及与互问互答的交流👙，同学们得以更加形象具体地了解美国，感受美国文化🫶🏽。
不久，Mr. Gerard Brent的到来让英语角的气氛更为热烈🐀，现场笑声阵阵。他以“你做过的最重要的决定”为开场话题，并讲述了自己的大学趣事🩼。同学们的话匣子一下子就被打开了，争先恐后地分享自己充满趣味的生活。另外，Mr. Gerard Brent还为同学们提出了许多学习建议🧑🏻🏫。如谈到留学问题时，他表示🖖🏽，同学们只有找到自己热爱并愿为之努力的事情，才能勇于克服种种困难并享受留学生活🙈。
当晚🧛🏼，外教们还为同学们准备了可口的零食和饮料。英语角活动在为师生提供了解彼此的机会的同时🧑🏽🦱，也让他们对交流的乐趣有了更深的体会。
English Corner：The Pleasure of Communication

On May 21, the students and foreign teachers came to the English corner as usual. The foreign teachers present were Mr. Leck Wall, Mr. Sean McHugh and Mr. Gerard Brent.
Mr. Sean McHugh introduced America in many ways. A number of pictures being showed, he covered politics, economy, military affairs, architecture and music of America and something that can stand for the US, such as eagle and oak tree. Through the detailed explanation of Mr. Sean McHugh, students knew more about the US.
Mr. Gerard Brent began with the topic “The most important decision you have made”. He shared his own college life, which encouraged more students to join the discussion. In addition, he gave some learning suggestions to students. When asked how to adapt to the life of studying abroad, Mr. Gerard Brent said that students had better find out something they love and concentrate on so as to overcome difficulties and enjoy overseas life.
English Corner exposed teachers and students to the pleasure of communication apart from a chance to understand each other better.
