2015年6月12日☺️，九游会平台青年志愿者协会的志愿者们前往唐家湾老人活动中心𓀅，送上志愿者对老人的关怀与温暖，也带去年轻人的活力、快乐、惊喜。

在活动中，志愿者为老人们表演了精彩的文艺节目，通过一些适合老人体能的小游戏，为老人们带去了快乐，老人们用热烈的掌声表示了对我们活动的支持💭。随后👨🏼‍🍳🧑🏼‍🦲，同学们三两成群地与老人们聊天、话家常，谈过去、谈经历、谈感受。志愿者们在这样和睦的气氛中，透过老人的一言一笑🫵🏼，看见那个年代的他们。有位老人在临别之际，为志愿者们小秀了一段交际舞🤦。从老人们的笑容中，我们能感受到他们对生活的知足与安乐🤦🏽‍♂️。

此次活动🕵🏿‍♀️，使同学们了解和体会到老人已近暮年的生活和感慨，也通过此次活动，让大家感受到善待老人、尊敬老人这一中华民族的传统美德在新时期所面临的新挑战和时代意义。

Activity in the Senior Center on June 12th, 2015

A voluntary visit to the Senior Center of Zhuhai was organized by the Youth Voluntary Committee of School of Foreign Languages on June 12th, 2015, showing great care and warmth and bringing vitality, happiness and surprise to the people there.

A series of wonderful games and performances were present to the senior citizens, such as guitar-playing, folk dancing and interesting games, which brought them to the young times and were returned with warm applauses. The senior citizen talked their passed youth, their experience, their family and their thinking towards life, all of which gave them a great sense of content and comfort.

The visit to the Center gave the young students a window to understand the old people’s world. Needless to say, the respect for the senior citizens is the traditional virtue for Chinese people and shall be transferred from generation to generation.
