On the evening of June 11, students came to the English Corner as usual. Mr. Sean McHugh and Mr. Gerard Brent were present. The topic of this week was how to release pressure in life.
When it comes to the pressure in the daily life, people always cherish the memory about their childhood. Then, students shared different methods to deal with the pressure: some may read books to discover the new elements in life; some may hang out with friends to share a leisure afternoon; others may watch cartoons to have fun.
Mr. Sean McHugh took a bottle of the Chinese liquor from his bag and told the students it was his treasure. He said that Chinese liquor was something cheap and pure that it all from the nature. What’s more, drinking can help him release the pressure. But Chinese liquor is hard to buy and more expensive in England. Students reminded Mr. Sean of not drinking too much. Mr. Gerard Brent joined the conversation after finishing running on the playground. Students asked him how often him did exercises. He laughed: “I’ve been running all day long for 12 hours.” Mr. Gerard told students that doing sports was a good way to release the pressure.
Let us figure out our own ways to deal with the pressure.
